A distinctive and elegant American Indian sterling silver and turquoise pendant, in the signature style of award winning Navajo silversmith Peter Nelson. The design is crowned by a stunning Dry Creek turquoise cabochon, beautifully worked and mounted. The palette of colour ranges from light green to palest blue and white, interspersed with brown matrix spots. The main body of the pendant is an overlay design of geometric shapes depicting Navajo lifeway and rug symbols, with a little touch of silver dust here and there to change the texture. The inspired balance of textures, shapes and colours is typical of the work of such an outstanding artist.
