Medium Sterling Silver and Gold Inlay Cross (PND223)

A medium square-cut sterling silver and gold cross pendant, designed and hand made in the signature style of award winning Navajo silversmith Ron Henry. The traditional symbol is mounted in the intersection with a 14kt gold trapezium shape accent. Two deep cuts at the base are extended into the sides to mirror the shape of the gold accent. This representation of the cross step is similar to that of the St Olga cross, but facing the opposite way. The bail is an abstract representation of the Egyptian ankh representing life and regeneration. A singular and meaningful piece of contemporary American Indian art.
