Medium Sterling Silver and Gold Cross (PND222)

A medium square-cut sterling silver and gold cross pendant, hand made in the signature style of award winning Navajo silversmith Ron Henry. The traditional symbolism is given a contemporary twist by the artist, with the mounting of a 14kt gold trapezium shape accent at the intersection of the patibulum and stipe. The bail could be interpreted as the artist's abstract American Indian representation of the Egyptian ankh representing life and regeneration. A very beautiful and meaningful piece of jewellery.
