Kingman Turquoise Gumball Necklace 16"

A beautiful traditional American Indian Kingman turquoise gumball and sterling silver necklace, hand crafted by Kewa Pueblo artists James and Doris Coriz. The necklace consists of 31 gorgeous chunky turquoise gumballs of uniform size but irregular shapes. The colour ranges from intense blue to green and there are multiple colour changes and colour spots within individual stones. All of the stones have a lovely matrix to varying degrees of brown, gold and black. The extendable sterling silver clasp features round beads and cones, which are marked with American Indian rain symbols. James and Doris's traditional take on Kewa jewellery is well known and their artistry is showcased in this cheerful piece.
