Jet and Turquoise Gumball Necklace

A beautiful traditional American Indian jet and turquoise combination necklace, conceived and hand crafted by Kewa Pueblo artists James and Doris Coriz. The design consists of 6 segments of black jet torus discs, graduated in size, interspersed with jet heishi tubes. Each segment is separated by a gorgeous blue green Kingman turquoise gumball, with a nice gold matrix and near rough shape. The ends of the necklace are blocks of jet heishi, slightly graduated in size. James and Doris are well known for their traditional take on Kewa jewellery, including keeping worked stones as naturally shaped as possible. This piece demonstrates that tradition and looks fantastic too.
