Green Kingman Arizona Turquoise Heishi Necklace (NCK340)

A classic Kewa heishi necklace of green Kingman turquoise and sterling silver, hand cut and crafted in traditional artisan style by Pueblo artists James and Doris Coriz. The stones are fairly roughly hand cut in various thicknesses and then polished. The colour palette ranges from pale to dark green and the stones are matrixed in sandy brown and gold. The ends of the necklace are finished with small sterling silver spheres and tied off in the traditional way. A sterling silver hook clasp is fitted. This necklace's charm is in its rough, earthy, artisanal look, which is an occasional hallmark of James and Doris's art. For that reason it sits very well with casual, everyday outfits.
